A beautiful rug to tie a room together is essential and important. Founded in 1997, The Rug Company has been traveling far and wide to discover rare and exceptional pieces. Each rug takes four months to craft, lasting generations due to the use of time-honored techniques employed by artisans for hundreds of years. The Rug Company encourages customers to explore their own creativity and commission a unique piece that is perfectly tailored to their personal style. The Rug Company recently collaborated with designers Adam Hunter, Andrew Winch, David Rockwell, Kelly Wearstler, Luke Edward Hall and Martyn Lawrence Bullard to make new collections dropping this summer/fall.

Yacht and aircraft designer, Andrew Winch of Winch Design, has designed his first collection of rugs based on the elements – land, air, and sea. Each design encapsulates the beautiful textures of the natural world. The collection arrives in September 2019.
In celebration of the longstanding collaboration and inspired by one his current best-loved designs, Platinum, David Rockwell has added two new rug designs which explore the themes of overlays, light and depth and reflect tonal and linear designs within different scales. The additions arrive mid-August 2019.Drawing inspiration for this collection from the SoCal climate, its vistas and landscape, Adam Hunter blends the native topography with linear and blurred lenses to produce spectacular yet unexpected designs.British Illustrator Luke Edward Hall has collaborated with The Rug Company to create a whimsical cushion and wallhanging collection based on some of Luke’s playful sketches. Each cushion is carefully handcrafted in wool crewelwork, and reflects Luke’s passion for bright and contrasting colors.Admired internationally for her distinctive, multi-faceted interior environments and expressive design narratives, Kelly Wearstler has collaborated with The Rug Company for an elegant collection of abstract designs, including the first series of runners for the brand.

World-renowned designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard has produced a second collection of glamorous new rugs for The Rug Company, drawing inspiration from Palm Springs and the swinging sixties.

Made to withstand all environments, including kitchens, bathrooms and outdoor areas, The Endurance Collection crafts handmade rugs using Perennials’ yarn, which is stain repellent, soft to the touch and highly durable.
