KDH Photo Diary: Check Out Dr. Kot's Flower Pots!

Dr. Kot is ready to get his hands dirty in the garden.....

Looking for a fun weekend project? It’s time to plant your pretty flower pots for porch and poolside flair. All of the local farm stands are packed with daisies, pansies, hyacinth and more~ and it’s not supposed to rain all weekend so get your green thumb in gear!

Most people know that my husband is a great doctor, but few people know he is an obsessive gardener. This is good news for me, because I would rather enjoy the flowers around me, rather than plant them all. Each season, Doc can’t wait to plant his spring flower pots at our farmhouse.  He heads to Halsey Farm nursery on Deerfield Road in Water Mill to fill his car with multiple flats of flowers and completes his project in about two hours time!  This year at Halsey, he opted for a mix of: the Easter Bonnet Pastel Mix, Lavender Frost Serenity, Panol Blotch Mix Pansies, and Ranunculus.

Check out his horticultural handiwork below!

Later in the evening, we headed over to the Living Room at c/o The Maidstone in East Hampton for dinner and were greeted by their new beautiful, potted flower arrangements [pictured below]! I love the metal pots they used in different geometric shapes!

Sooo….we gotta ask~ Whose pots do you like better?
