Phao spices up life in Sag Harbor. The downtown restaurant opened in April 2009 and offers Thai cuisine during the dinner hour and a dynamic nightlife scene. Phao’s menu features Thai specialties and innovative dishes of Thai origin, putting the pow into their meals with rich ingredients and savory spices!

KDH recently learned that Phao is offering a $24.95 four-course prix fixe Monday through Thursday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The menu will be served until 9:30 p.m. at the bar.  Select wines will also be available for $9 with the prix fixe.

**We popped into Phao on Thursday and had a great date night. Here’s what KDH ordered:

First Course

Fresh local vegetables with mint, Thai basil, fresh herbs, rice noodles and poached shrimp in a rice paper wrapper with Sriracha and honey dipping sauce

Second Course

Marinated ribs grilled and glazed with house-made Thai BBQ sauce

Third Course

Classic Thai rice noodles sautéed with chicken, shrimp, egg and shallots dressed with fresh bean sprouts, carrot and peanuts

[we also ordered a side Pineapple Fried Rice~ yum!]

….Of course just because your meal ends, doesn’t mean your night will!  After the kitchen closes, Phao’s lounge takes center stage from 10:30 p.m. until 2 a.m. with drink specials every night and special guest DJs on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, and Project Vibe every Sunday beginning at 8 p.m.

*The restaurant is open for dinner Sunday through Thursday from 5 to 10:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 to 11 p.m.
