Who’s finally ready to get back out there in the Hamptons? The most fun party of  Memorial Day weekend will  be at high-energy Japanese restaurant Kissaki Watermill which will feature a live jazz meets hip-hop performance by The Rakiem Walker Project featuring Gloria Ry’ann on Saturday, May 28 from 9:30pm – 12:30am. Book quickly HERE! Kissaki is in its third year as one of the Hamptons’ top sushi restaurants. As with Kissaki on Bowery and the Upper West Side of Manhattan, the fish is mostly from Japan or caught by local fisherman.

Chef Mark Garcia honors tradition and technique, yet his sushi is a bit playful serving nigiri topped with caviar, yuzu, plum soy, garlic, and other seasonal ingredients. The counter seats 18 for omakase with two price options: $75 for eight nigiri, or $115 for 12 nigiri, both served with miso soup and a handroll. The dining room and outdoor patio serve an a la carte menu of nigiri, futomaki, maki and donburi.

Popular items are The Sandy, Otoro tartare, uni, Ikura, kanpyo, avocado, cucumber & rakkyo; Maguro Mamma, Spicy tuna, sweet potato tempura, cucumber & avocado; and the Ume Shiso-Cu Maki, Plum paste, Japanese mint leaf (shiso) & cucumber. There is also a kid’s menu available.
