Over the past year, KDHamptons has helped aid in the adoption of many dutiful dogs and compassionate cats at the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation (SASF). We love receiving fabulous emails from the shelter informing us that KDHamptons readers have been coming to the rescue of these adorable animals in need of a Hamptons home! Thank you!!

This week we feature a new cat & dog, who are looking for a new home, in the NEW YEAR!! I hope you might consider adopting a pet in 2013~ what better resolution is there than to save a life? [pssst! Guess what? I’m a very special 2-year old boy! I was given the name “Orion” because the sky’s the limit with me! I may be deaf, but I am soooo very smart! I learned sign language commands so we can communicate easily, and I play well with others~ human or furry! I need a special home who appreciates how really special I am!

Nicole’s owner passed away and this 6-year old funny girl longs for a furever home. She used to live with a dog and another cat and has been here since 2010. Her purrrsonality with those cute and quirky ways are what makes her so special! Nicole has been patiently waiting her turn for someone to appreciate all she has to offer!

I’m Adrienne! Wanna play in the snow with me? I’m a 1 year old pup packed with potential! Although I am very hard of hearing, I get along with everyone human or furry! I learned hand signals quickly because I am so smart. The sky’s the limit with me, and so is the fun!

Joy is cute, fun and sassy! This 2 year old petite tiger will make you laugh with her antics! Everyone could use a little “Joy” in their life!
SASF has extended the “Cats Here Over A Year” adoption fees waiver and they even throw in 6 months of food and medical care! Through February, please come adopt that purrfect feline friend who deserves a fur-ever home! Joy has been here a year and would love to pack her bags!
