Have You Heard About The SHED? Sag Harbor's First Women's Working Space

SHARE

Have you heard about the SHED? The SHED Workspace is Sag Harbor’s first all-women co-working space. Founded by Sarah Cohen, Amanda Fairbanks, and Liza Tremblay, who dared to create the place they wanted to work — figuring that if they built it, others would want to join them. The SHED pops up every Tuesday at Estia’s Little Kitchen in Sag Harbor from 9AM to 5PM. Daily and monthly memberships are available. Bring your laptop, let the SHED ladies take care of the rest, and discover a new way to work.

We live in a freelance economy. Gone are traditional 9 to 5 jobs, replaced by a steady stream of workers who either rotate among local coffee shops, work out of their homes in isolation, or make conference calls behind the dashboards of their cars.

By coming together in a shared workspace, where women of diverse backgrounds feel welcome and encouraged, The SHED will help women to innovate — changing the way we work, grow, and ultimately succeed in the Hamptons. More information is available on their website: www.theshedworkspace.com
