Happy Birthday Brady Hopkins! KDH Wishes I Was Riding Camels With You On Your Special Day!

Little Brady Hopkins turned three over the weekend and I just have to share a few photos from his big day! I know this post doesn’t have anything to do with the Hamptons as my gorgeous godson lives in Abu Dhabi~ but hey, we can all make the party cupcake recipe here at home! My sister Kim and her husband Steve live in Abu Dhabi with Brady and I love to see how different his young life is growing up in the Middle East. Some things are still the same halfway around the world~ Brady had a bouncy castle at his party!

KDH can’t wait to go for my second visit to Abu Dhabi in February…Happy Birthday Brady! Can’t wait to see you soon…xo Aunt Kelli

Brady arrives in style at the Emirates Palace for a beach day with mom.
Brady takes a sunny camel ride on the beach.
Herrrre kitty cat! Brady holds a baby lion cub.
The birthday boy test drives his new car float in the pool with dad.
The big reveal before the party: A new jeep for the little guy!
The jumpy castle was a huge hit!
Kim made these Sesame Street cupcakes for Brady's party (I swear it's true!) check out the video recipe she followed below.

Quick cupcake tip:

Basically,  just follow directions for a chocolate or yellow cake with  vanilla or buttercream frosting. Add a few drops of food coloring with coconut massaged in a baggie. Then sprinkle the colored coconut on top. See the video for eye and nose ideas! The key to placing the eyes, nose and mouth candy is to dip it in frosting first to make sure it will stay.
