Reserve Your Tickets Under The Sea: Hampton Ballet Theatre School To Premiere The Littlest Mermaid In East Hampton!

The Hampton Ballet Theatre School (HBTS), will premiere its spring ballet The Littlest Mermaid on Friday, April 20 at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, April 21 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Guild Hall’s beautiful John Drew Theater, 158 Main Street, East Hampton.

Admission is $20 for adults and $15 for children under 12 years of age. Orchestra, box seating and group rates are also available.

The ballet was conceived by Sara Jo Strickland, Graylen and Grover Gatewood, and is choreographed by the director of HBTS, Sara Jo Strickland and includes beautiful costumes hand sewn and designed by Yuka Silvera. It will, of course, feature the students of the Hampton Ballet Theatre School. The ballet is based upon the original Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale The Little Mermaid and will be danced to a vivid orchestral score by Alan Menken. Located in a kingdom under the sea, mermaid princesses, sea horses, sharks, merwitches and all types of wondrous sea creatures will bring Hans Christian Anderson’s fairy tale alive.

Children from age 3 on up to adults will delight in watching the students of the Hampton Ballet Theatre School as they inspire dreams of adventures under the sea. Don’t miss this exciting ballet performance!
