Great New Greek Restaurant: Nammos Estiatorio In Southampton Is Sure To Be A Hit This Summer Season!

KDH is so excited to try all of the new restaurants that are opening up for the summer season!

First stop: Nammos Estiatorio at 136 Main Street in Southampton. Greek chef Emmanuel Aslanoglou, and owner Tim Salouros [who also owns Trata] recently shared their inspired Greek cuisine with KDH and our foodie friends Andrew Wahl and John Nelson. The food was fantastic, the service was great, and the gorgeous dining room [created by former owner Nello Ballan] is one of my favorites on the East End.

The Mediterranean menu incorporates traditional Greek fare with a contemporary twist making wide use of olive oil, vegetables, herbs, with wine, fish, and various meats including lamb and veal. We sampled various delicious Mezes [a collective name for a variety of small dishes], my favorite being the grilled octopus salad.

Traditional Greek desserts topped off a delicious dinner. The inspired menu will definitely set Nammos’ cultural cuisine apart from the other Southampton restaurants, and is a great addition to the lineup! Grab a group of friends and go before the summer crowds descend upon the East End…

Check out some of our favorite dishes below:
