Peter Callahan’s divine dining room table is set for family and friends.

Ever wonder if the famous chefs really put on a super spread at their home? Or, are they just plain tired of playing in the pantry during the holiday season? We asked the king of catering, Peter Callahan [below], if he would share some pix of what his table top design looks like on Turkey Day.  Peter’s style is chic, festive, and perfectly precise. Guess working alongside his old pal Martha Stewart all those years rubbed off. KDHamptons loves to whip up a weekend meal from Peter’s cookbook, Bite By Bite [pictured below]. Check out all the great recipes Peter has shared with KDHamptons readers in the Feast End section of the site.

Now this is what you'd call an inspired "kids table." The red bamboo chairs and zebra skin rug provide a graphic contrast.
