Am I Dreaming? Chef Daniel Boulud Will Send Dinner To My Hamptons Doorstep?

Legendary chef Daniel Boulud (above) announced the launch of his new delivery concept, Daniel Boulud Kitchen, recently in the city to such excitement, he decided to share the love with The Hamptons! As it was so well-received, the concept will expand June 19th – just in time for Father’s Day weekend – to East Hampton and Southampton so that his guests out east can also enjoy their favorite dishes in the midst of this unprecedented time.

Designed to bring the culinary flavor of his New York restaurant DANIEL to the home, the menu of French classics with a contemporary twist will be meticulously prepared in the DANIEL kitchen under the strictest of CDC guidelines.  Five percent of sales will go directly to benefit Hand in Hand, a Daniel Boulud Foundation, to support those employees who have not been able to work during this time – however, the establishment of Daniel Boulud Kitchen will also allow him to bring back additional team members. I surprised my husband with an early Father’s Day dinner in the garden with the mouthwatering seafood bouillabaisse.

Menus will change weekly and can be found on the new Daniel Boulud Kitchen website.  For the rollout of Daniel Boulud Kitchen in the Hamptons, he has planned a menu that feeds up to six people and includes a seafood bouillabaisse dinner for Friday evening, vegetarian dinner for Saturday and brunch for Sunday, along with desserts and bread inclusive for $1400.  Orders will need to be placed by 6/17 for delivery to the Southampton, East Hampton Jitney stops on 6/19, where pick-up will be available between 4-6pm.
