Don't Miss The Operation International 22nd Annual Benefit on Sept. 28th: Help Sponsor Medical Missions To Children In Need

Operation International, a non-profit medical mission organization based in Southampton, NY is pleased to announce its 22nd Annual September Benefit, which will be held on Saturday, September 28 from 6:30 – 11 pm at the Laurel Lake Vineyards located on the North Fork at 3165 Main Road in Laurel, NY.  All donations will benefit medical outreach and continued work to improve the living conditions in Uganda and Bolivia, where the organization will be providing life-saving medical surgeries, donating hospital equipment , renovating orphanages, and building schools. The fantastic event will feature a 70’s themed night of dancing, dinner, drinks, and auction items.

“We are looking forward to celebrating with old and new friends as we raise funds to support our continued volunteer work offering free medical treatment, education, and training to adults and children suffering from the lack of quality health care in impoverished countries around the world,” said Operation International’s Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors Medhat Allam.

In 1997, Operational International’s Team NY was the first group to make a maiden mission to Haiti with the organization. Since that time, Team NY has helped those in need in Mexico, Honduras, Brazil, Vietnam, Nepal, Nigeria, Nicaragua, Zambia, Peru, India, Egypt, Kenya, Chile, Ghana, Myanmar, and Tanzania. Operational International has grown to over 200 medical professionals with numerous chapters including Operation Kids, Operation Restore Vision, Operation Dental, and Operation Ear, Nose and Throat throughout the United States and abroad. Operation International’s partners include the United Nations, Rotary International, Agnes Varis Trust, Americares, AFYA Foundation, Soles 4 Souls and Hospital Sisters Mission Outreach.

Refurbished a hospital in Uganda
Built an eye hospital in the Himalayas
Launched a new team in Los Angeles that traveled to Ecuador launched a new team in Maryland that traveled to Kenya
Started a 5-year program to feed vulnerable children at orphanages in the Philippines
Started a 5-year program to train therapists on managing victims of gender violence in Kenya with expansion to South Africa in 201
Provided mattresses, bedding, clothes, shoes, & food and installed solar panels, lights and computer terminals at 4 orphanages in Uganda
