Cowfish has taken over the old Indian Cove restaurant space...

Looking for a great outdoor spot for Surf, Turf, and Sunset? The former Indian Cove restaurant in Hampton Bays has reopened as Cowfish! The hot new restaurant, which is owned by Rumba owner David Hersh and his wife, Rachel, boasts a hip look designed to look like a Manhattan loft, and has been packed most nights since opening for their sophomore season.

The restaurant is open Tuesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner at 5 p.m. and features steaks and seafood [thus Cow & Fish!] and delicious comfort food dishes like:  skillet fried corn bread, mouth watering ribs, deviled eggs, and fried green tomatoes. We like to sit upstairs on the deck facing the marina to watch the boats coming in, but check out all of the other dining room options and views before you decide where to hunker down for some seriously good food. Families and kids chow down on the first floor typically and the upstairs bar and deck dining is filled with dates, fun groups of guys just off their fishing boats, and the sunset cocktails crowd.

Looking for a new sunset libation destination [or drinks after dinner]? Head out back to the Tiki Bar at Cowfish which offers a specialty drink menu full of fun, creative cocktails like “The Homewrecker!”

Cowfish is  located at 258 East Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays; 631.594.3868
