Over the past two years, KDHamptons has helped aid in the adoption of many dutiful dogs and compassionate cats at the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation (SASF). We love receiving fabulous emails from the shelter informing us that KDHamptons readers have been coming to the rescue of these adorable animals in need of a Hamptons home! Thank you!!

This week we feature a very special group of new furry friends, who are looking for a new home: a recently rescued group of puppy mill dogs. The shelter shares, “There are 8 rescue dogs in all- 7 females & 1 male. They are poodles, bichon frise’s, and shih tzu’s. All things are new to them. They never had a name, or felt soft grass under their paws. Their ages range from 2-7 years old. A life of a puppy mill dog is a cruel one. We have saved them from this life as they deserve nothing less than a loving, kind, home.”

The shelter has been working nonstop to show these dogs love and caring, bathing them, holding them, and spreading the word to help find them a home. [pssst!
