Birds, Bites & Backyard Wildlife: A New Hampton Bays Tradition

SHARE

Looking for a unique way to spend your lunch break this summer? Beginning July 1, the Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center in Hampton Bays is inviting nature lovers of all ages to enjoy Lunch with the Birds every Wednesday from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own lunch and settle in at the Center’s picnic tables while meeting some very special feathered friends. Led by Vlad and the Wildlife Rescue Center’s beloved Education Birds, these weekly gatherings offer an up-close look at native wildlife, fascinating rescue stories, and the important conservation work happening right here on Long Island.

Whether you’re a bird enthusiast, a family looking for a fun midweek outing, or simply someone who enjoys spending time in nature, Lunch with the Birds promises an entertaining and educational experience in a relaxed outdoor setting.

The Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center has long been dedicated to rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife, and these ambassador birds help inspire visitors to better understand and protect the animals that share our local environment.
