BIG KDHamptons NEWS: Popeye The Rescue Pup Has Found His Forever Home & Gained A New Big Brother!
GREAT NEWS KDHamptons readers!!
After being rescued by the Southampton Animal Shelter, little Popeye was severely matted, with serious injuries and missing toes [see below :( photos]. After three surgeries, which required the loss of a foot and one eye, and 3 1/2 months of recuperating, our little Lhasa Apso survivor with a big heart and spirit has found his forever home! What an incredible story, right? It just shows that every animal deserves a second chance, and they just need our help to get there sometimes. Only a monster would leave a pup in the condition Popeye was found in, but now he has an angel who not only adopted him, but also gave him a new brother to play with. Amazing!

Popeye was in “ruff” shape when he arrived at the shelter [above & below]. Linda Goldsmith of SASF took extra special care of Popeye during his recovery from tough surgeries, including taking home for the holidays. I am sure all of the love she gave this little guy got him back on his feet, even if it’s just three little feet…
