Celebrating 10 years of partnership, renowned interior designer Barrie Benson and Highland House Furniture unveiled a fresh collaboration that expands their longtime partnership at High Point Market in North Carolina. Their decade of collaboration has culminated in a capsule collection that blends Benson’s tactile, inviting aesthetic with Highland House’s meticulous American craftsmanship.

“In celebration of our ten-year anniversary, this collection reflects the design language we have refined over the past decade, balancing American and European mid-century forms, Scandinavian simplicity, and enduring traditional silhouettes with ease,” says Barrie Benson. “Each piece is designed with versatility in mind, working beautifully across different rooms and homes, and are forms we have returned to time and time again, trusted by our clients across countless projects.”

Some highlights of the collection include the McHale Burl Dresser, a new old piece featuring undulating drawers and a rich burl veneer finish; the Relly Table, a chic reference to 1940s French furniture design; and the Renzo Sectional, influenced by furnishings Benson admired during visits to legendary French designer Madeleine Castaing’s Paris apartment and blending European romance with everyday comfort.

Known for creating interiors that are richly layered, artfully composed, and unmistakably personal, Benson has earned a reputation for seamlessly blending modern and traditional elements into spaces that feel distinctive and welcoming. For more than 50 years, Highland House has remained dedicated to exceptional craftsmanship, producing high-quality furniture in its North Carolina factories. Together, their enduring partnership continues to celebrate timeless design, impeccable craftsmanship, and furniture designed for everyday living.
