On Thursday, July 24, The HUB in Bridgehampton hosted the stylish kickoff soiree for Bark Jacobs by Marc Jacobs, welcoming Hamptonites, dog parents, and fashion insiders for an evening of fashion, fun, and furry friends. The event marked the start of a weekend-long pop-up where guests could get customized Marc Jacobs bags featuring hand-painted portraits of their beloved pups.

Attendees were warmly welcomed by The HUB owners Michael Catalano and Toni DeMauro, along with North American President of Marc Jacobs Peter Panagiotopoulos. They enjoyed delicious specialty cocktails from Common Ground, fun tunes from DJ Angelica Morrow, and a gorgeous display of Marc Jacobs’ coveted collection, including The Dual Bag, The Tote Bag, The Glam Bag, The Dakota Bag, and other leather accessories like wallets, bag tags, and The Beauty Bag.

But the real showstopper? A bespoke customization station where New York City-based artists Zac Crawford and Ben Silberstein hand-painted pet portraits directly onto Marc Jacobs bags. Attendees brought photos of their furry companions, selected their favorite bag, and watched in awe as these talented artists brought each pet to life, capturing their unique charm in just minutes.
