To celebrate the launch of MooreHouse Farm, and the official kick off of the summer wedding season, celebrity caterer, Andrea Correale (above) of Elegant Affairs hosted an open house on Thursday, May 23rd to showcase the beautiful space. The event featured Elegant Affairs’ unique farm to table dishes including watermelon pizzas, watermelon radish tacos, roasted red pepper parfaits, melon antipasti skewers and Elegant Affair’s craft cocktails.

Celebrity caterer Andrea Correale, the founder and CEO of Elegant Affairs, has been producing custom designed, award-winning New York catered events for more than 20 years, including the likes of Brooke Shields, Mariah Carey, Jimmy Fallon and Liam Neeson – to name a few!

MooreHouse Farm, located at 486 Main Road, Aquebogue, NY is a newly opened event space on the eastern end of Long Island that features a unique windmill (one of eight of its kind), a gateway barn, on-site lodging and beautifully manicured property. The venue is located one mile into the wine trails of the North Fork, and is a family owned and operated historical site located in Aquebogue. The limitless field can accommodate 400 + guests for a tented affair and allows for smaller intimate dinner parties in the barn or on the lodge deck.

The event was sponsored by local vendors to ensure an authentic Hamptons’ experience and allow guests to experience the best The East End has to offer. In addition to Elegant Affairs, Easter Bay Co. shucked local oysters for guests while Cupcakes & Everything Chocolate provided desserts including mini pies, cakesicles and covered oreos. Cocktails were served by Up End Gin as well as LIV Vodka and wine was served from Bedell Vineyard. The beautiful rustic chic décor was styled by Karen Lenahan and custom built furniture and bars were provided by Decco by Party Up Productions. Live entertainment was provided by East End Entertainment.

Andrea created a “rustic, urban chic vibe” for the launch of Moorehouse Farm as a wedding venue and a kickoff to the summer wedding season. Her menu included “healthy, whole foods with a hip and stylish visual presentation,” and “reinvented the grazing table.”
