SHARE

With summer in full swing, Canoe Place Inn & Cottages is back with the introduction of new Chef Matthew Woolf and an exciting calendar of events designed to celebrate the best of the East End. With vineyard brunch collaborations, charitable pilates activation, and historical happenings celebrating America’s 250th, guests can experience a season filled with elevated dining, wellness, entertainment, and unforgettable moments at one of the Hamptons’ most historic destinations.

Bar Rêve Residency

From July 7 to 12, New York City staple Bar Rêve will arrive at Canoe Place Inn for a limited-time residency, bringing its distinctly Parisian perspective to the understated elegance of the Hamptons. Guests will be able to enjoy expertly crafted cocktails served nightly in The Study, Canoe Place’s intimate cocktail space. Hotel guests can also enjoy specialty spritzes and cocktail-inspired ice creams served poolside throughout the week, extending the residency’s relaxed French aperitif culture.

Pilates with Purpose

In partnership with LTMovement and the NYPC Foundation, Canoe Place Inn will host a restorative morning of movement, community, and wellness in support of cancer care and healing. The experience begins with a sun-filled Pilates mat session led by LTMovement founder and brain tumor survivor Leisa Taylor, followed by a curated seasonal breakfast and community gathering. Proceeds support the NYPC Foundation, and tickets can be purchased here.

Long Island’s Role in the American Revolution

Just in time for America’s 250th Anniversary, Canoe Place Inn will host historian, writer, and New York Times contributor Terry Lavin for a special presentation on June 25. He will explore the people, battles, and intelligence networks that defined Long Island’s pivotal role in 1776 and the early founding of the United States, including key local families tied to the Declaration of Independence. This program is part of Canoe Place Inn’s Front Row series, with tickets available for purchase here.

Weekly Summer Programming

The excitement continues all summer long with weekly programming across the property. Mondays feature Industry Nights at Good Ground Tavern, offering all-day happy hour specials and late-night discounts for the hospitality professionals who keep the Hamptons running throughout the season. Wednesdays bring Summer Sounds in the Garden, transforming the property’s garden into a live music haven with live performances, lounge seating, craft cocktails, and seasonal bites, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. On Sundays, guests can start the day with complimentary Yoga on the Lawn led by Doza Yoga Studio before heading to Good Ground Tavern’s lively DJ Brunch featuring Mikesation and Friends. Combining brunch favorites, seasonal cocktails, and live music, it’s the perfect way to spend a summer Sunday on the East End.

Blending historic charm, elevated dining, wellness experiences, and vibrant community programming, Canoe Place Inn & Cottages continues to solidify its place as one of the Hamptons’ premier summer destinations. To learn more, visit Canoe Place Inn’s site.
