On July 16, beloved rescue organization Wags & Walks brought its life-saving mission to the East End with their Hamptons Pup-Up Launch Party – an evening of cocktails, canine cuddles, and celebration in support of rescue dogs. Wags & Walks is a Los Angeles and Nashville based nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing euthanasia in overcrowded shelters and matching deserving dogs with forever homes. Since its founding in 2011, the organization has saved more than 14,000 dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes.

 Each summer, they transport adoptable rescues to New York to alleviate overcrowding in shelters in the South. This year’s Hamptons Pup-Up Launch Party marked the beginning of their seasonal presence in the Hamptons, which will continue through August 25.

Held at The Clubhouse in East Hampton, the kickoff event offered guests the opportunity to meet some of the organization’s adorable adoptable dogs, while enjoying light bites and custom cocktails. The event was generously sponsored by PetMeds and Tito’s Vodka, with every ticket sold directly supporting the organization’s vital rescue efforts.
