NEW KDHamptons PARTY PIX: Solving Kids' Cancer Hosts Second Annual Summer Luncheon

On Monday, August 5th, Solving Kids’ Cancer (SKC), an NYC based nonprofit, held its second annual Summer Luncheon at Tutto il Giorno in Southampton for over 70 guests.

The afternoon’s guest included hosts, Cristina Cuomo, Andrea Greeven Douzet, Lindy Gad, Jan Planit, and Bonnie Young who were joined by Celia Babini, Sharyn Bradford, Glenn Bradford, Lydia Carlston, Michelle Clark, Christina De Marval, Haiki Feldman, Pamela Fiori ,Chloe Gad, Pauline Gad, Lucia Hwong Gordon, Alison Harmelin, Bernat Heinberg, Ashton Holloway, Gigi Howard, Alex Lennon, Beth O’Donnell, Jill Stuart, Stephanie Shnay, Linda Silverman, Isabel Tonelli, and Silke Tsitiridis.

Andrea Greeven Douzet welcomed guests and thanked them for leaving the beach on such a beautiful day to support Solving Kids’ Cancer and its childhood cancer research programs.

After a delicious family style lunch of in the garden of Tutto il Giorno, host Lindy Gad spoke of her personal journey and the importance of the work done by Solving Kids’ Cancer in finding and funding new treatments options. Concluding the afternoon was SKC’s original Jr. Ambassador Celia Babini who shared a few words about her long time support of  SKC and at the urging of guests to sing she agreed one song once everyone made a donation to the charity.

About Solving Kids’ Cancer: Founded in 2007 by two fathers who lost their children to cancer, Solving Kids’ Cancer (SKC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to significantly improving survivorship of the deadliest childhood cancers by finding, funding, and advocating for breakthrough treatment options.
