Most moms know it’s not so easy to get the kiddies in a perfect pose when you’re trying to nab a fab family portrait. Lauren shares: Late summer into the fall is the perfect time to capture those sunny Hamptons memories and stock up on images for holiday cards. Every summer I do just this…pick a perfect spot to have a photographer snap pics of my growing family. As a mom, I strive to capture all those special moments. I vow to do my own photo books, to bring a camera with me on those endless sunny days, birthday parties and vacations…..sadly this often doesn’t happen. So I am always happy to recruit the help of a professional photographer to take photos that I am actually IN with my family. My go to gals are photographers Sharon Suh and Diana Lee.

This summer famed LA based photographer and former photo editor [Vanity Fair, InStyle and Los Angeles Magazine], Sharon Suh (www.sharonsuhphotography.com) was the perfect choice to enlist for the job of capturing images of my newborn, two year old and my husband and me. She has a brilliant system for getting the kiddos to look their best and brings out their personalities. She basically showed up at my Sagaponack home with a bag of toys and candy. My two year old daughter followed every direction with a smile on her face and the pictures were divine. Sharon’s artistic style, keen eye, and sweet enthusiasm bring out the best in her clients. We have also captured memories over the past two years with the help of photographer Diana Lee (www.dianaleephoto.com). Diana is based in the Hamptons, so she knows exactly when to capture that special Hamptons light and where the best outdoor picture spots are. She also is a young mommy of two adorable kids so she knows how to get her subjects to flash that priceless grin. Diana’s love of photography started as a hobby and after her first child was born she began taking more and more pictures. Her talent spread quickly and friends and family started asking her to capture their special moments as well. This past year she launched Diana Lee Photography and has been booked solid ever since. She focuses on maternity, newborn and family photos. Working with her is effortless and the end results are stunning images that last a lifetime.
